On a Friday in late November, South Texas College Physical Science, Chemistry and Engineering departments banded together to host STC’s first ever Engineering Day.
The event was held at the STC Pecan Campus Library Rainbow Room and featured presenters talking about what they do and what it took to become engineers their particular fields. STC advisors and faculty assisted students who are interested in the engineering field register for classes for the spring 2010 semester.
“This was a great opportunity for STC students to get taste of some of the different jobs an engineer can have,” said Mario Morin.
