Mid-Valley Campus Library presents “Sell Your Fear”

South Texas College’s Mid-Valley Campus Library Art Gallery is proud to present “Sell Your Fear,” a graphic design poster exhibit dealing with the selling of fear in contemporary America. Currently on display now through Feb. 25, 2011, patrons can view the exhibit at STC’s Mid-Valley Campus Library Art Gallery located in Building E at 400 N. Border in Weslaco. Admission is free and open to the public.

The exhibit features 12 works from The STC Permanent Art Collection by artists Lauren Balderas, Thermon Biggers, Sharon Covington, Phyllis Evans, Robert Gilbert, Aly Mackie, David Martinez, Mindy Monsibais, Nancy Moyer, Caroline Navejar, Frank Tierney and Boone Wyatt. The goal of the exhibit is to broaden awareness of the ways in which fear is used as a marketing strategy in society today.

STC’s Library Art Gallery Program exhibits regional, national and international artwork, explores new visions and theories of creativity, and introduces innovative artistic expressions to the South Texas region.
