South Texas College’s Pecan Campus Library and the Mexican Consulate in McAllen present “Los Que Se Quedan” (“Those Who Remain”), a photo exhibit based on the documentary film of the same name by Juan Carlos Rulfo and Carlos Hagerman.

The exhibit will be on display throughout August at the STC Pecan Campus Library, located at 3201 W. Pecan Blvd. in McAllen. Admission is free and open to the public.

The exhibit consists of images of those who remain in Mexico while members of their families immigrate to the United States, as well as a streaming of the film.

STC’s Library Art Gallery Program exhibits regional, national and international artwork, explores new visions and theories of creativity, and introduces innovative artistic expressions to the South Texas region.
