STC’s Precision Manufacturing Technology Program Renews NIMS Accreditation

Keeping up with today’s standards, South Texas College (STC) has renewed the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) Accreditation of their Precision Manufacturing Technology (PMT) Program as of Thursday, May 9, 2013. This is the school’s second time establishing itself as a NIMS-Accredited institution, as it first set this benchmark in 2007. Tech Campus photo exhibit unearths Mexico’s unique beauty

South Texas College’s Technology Campus Library presents “Beauty in the Cracks: Photographing Matamoros,” an exhibit featuring black and white photography by Rocío Rangel. The exhibit opens Thursday, June 7 and will be on view through Friday, Aug. 24, 2012. An artist talk will be held at 5 p.m. at STC’s Technology Campus Library on July 10. South Texas College’s Technology Campus Library presents “The Girl by the Sea: Enchanted Storytelling in the Digital Age,” an exhibit featuring the writing and digital illustrations of Robert Gilbert. Tech instructor goes above and beyond the call of duty

Usually conducted behind closed doors, workshops can oftentimes get boring and offer little practical experience.
