Higher education supporters honored by STC Valley Scholars Program at 7th Annual ‘A Night with the Stars’ fund-raising event

South Texas College will recognize three distinguished business supporters of the Valley Scholars Program during its annual fundraising event, “A Night with the Stars.” Join the college for a star-studded evening of dining and entertainment as its Valley Scholars Program celebrates 15 years of academic excellence and salutes the McAllen Chamber of Commerce, Texas Border Business, and Wells Fargo. Governor David Dewhurst, the 2011 Border Texan of the Year, selected South Texas College's Valley Scholars Program to be one of four recipients of the proceeds from the 2011 Border Texan of the Year Dinner.
