STC Police investigating on-campus threat

MCALLEN, TEXAS (April 11, 2018)–A female student at South Texas College, accused of making a threat on campus, has been taken into custody by campus police.

The incident happened at the South Texas College Pecan Campus in McAllen, Tuesday afternoon. A staff member and others who overheard the threat immediately called 9-1-1. Officers quickly responded and removed the student from campus. There is no active threat to students and staff.
