South Texas College to begin offering Continuing Education Credits to nurses and nursing faculty

Two and a half years in the making, South Texas College will now be offering specialized Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) in the Rio Grande Valley. $1000 annual scholarships available Over the last two decades, more than 800 young people have utilized the Valley Scholars Program at South Texas College to reach their dreams. STC named second in the nation for awarding Associate Degrees to Hispanics by Hispanic Outlook Magazine

South Texas College has been recognized by The Hispanic Outlook on Education (HO) Magazine as one of the leading community colleges for Hispanics in the United States and has been highlighted in the February issue of HO magazine. STC ranks number two on the 2015 Associate degrees granted by four-year schools according to HO. The designation comes from HO’s “Top 25 Community Colleges for Hispanics” ranking published in its February 2017 issue.
