South Texas College to hold Student and Parent Open House  With classes filling up quickly, high school graduates who earned college hours through the Dual Credit Program are encouraged to attend its next student and parent open house on Saturday, June 24.   Students will receive assistance with developing a degree plan, applying for financial aid, and enrolling for summer and fall courses. More than 60 educators from across the Rio Grande Valley recently certified by South Texas College are now leaders in Science, Technology Engineering and Math. As the latest graduates from the RGV STEM Faculty Institute, faculty have been charged with guiding students into 21st century STEM careers. The Architectural and Engineering Design Technology Department hosted its 2017 Sketcharrette at the Mid-Valley Campus on April 26 .
