South Texas College now accepting applications for Valley Scholars Program

$1000 annual scholarships available Over the last two decades, more than 800 young people have utilized the Valley Scholars Program at South Texas College to reach their dreams. STC named second in the nation for awarding Associate Degrees to Hispanics by Hispanic Outlook Magazine

South Texas College has been recognized by The Hispanic Outlook on Education (HO) Magazine as one of the leading community colleges for Hispanics in the United States and has been highlighted in the February issue of HO magazine. STC ranks number two on the 2015 Associate degrees granted by four-year schools according to HO. The designation comes from HO’s “Top 25 Community Colleges for Hispanics” ranking published in its February 2017 issue. STC to open its newly renovated Student Enrollment center

Providing accessibility and enhanced services to students and their families, South Texas College will hold a ribbon cutting for its newly renovated and state of the art Pecan Campus Student Enrollment Center on Feb. 14 at 11:30 a.m. Designed by Boultinghouse Simpson Gates Architects and completed by NM Contracting, LLC, the new admissions center will feature a one-stop open concept model to eliminate long lines.
