South Texas College campuses will be closed from Dec. 21 – Jan. 1 for Winter Break. Registration for the upcoming 2018 spring semester is underway at all South Texas College campuses including the Starr County Campus located in Rio Grande City. The campus specializes in high demand and high wage technology programs including new courses in Electrician Technology, Heating, Ventilation AC and Refrigeration (HVAC&R), Automotive Technology, and Precision Manufacturing Technology (PMT). The  staff  at South Texas College’s Mid-Valley Campus will be assisting students over the Winter Break with extended hours for Spring 2018 registration. Classes begin Jan. 22. 18-20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bookstore hours will also be extended Day, night, weekend, and online classes are available to accommodate busy schedules.
