  South Texas College (STC) Continuing Professional Workforce Education (CPWE) in collaboration with the Division of Business, Public Safety and Technology has developed the first ever Supervisory Leadership Academy with RGV Border Patrol Sector, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP). STC’s annual IT event brings students together with companies seeking the next generation of highly skilled employees entering the workforce. Faculty within South Texas College’s (STC) Information Technology Program say there is an expectation from students in the program to leave little to chance once they graduate and enter the workforce. South Texas College Technology Campus hosts elementary class visit to promote college-ready culture

  As part of an ongoing effort to promote a college-going culture, the South Texas College Technology Campus hosted a group of more than 70 4th and 5th grade students from John F. Kennedy Elementary School in La Joya on Friday, Jan. 26. Administrators hold “ribbon-cutting” ceremony ushering in new facility built with the assistance of industry in the Rio Grande Valley Staff and faculty used a blowtorch in lieu of scissors at a special ribbon cutting ceremony to officially announce the opening of South Texas College’s (STC) expansion at its Technology Campus in McAllen.
