South Texas College Provides Free Moving Violations Workshop for Commercial Drivers

The South Texas College (STC) Continuing Education Department  will be hosting a free informative workshop for all those who drive or own Class A& B vehicles.

WHAT:          Moving Violations Workshop for Class A & B vehicles

WHO:             South Texas College Continuing, Professional and Workforce Education

WHEN:          8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 19

WHERE:   South Texas College Cooper Center                                                        3200 Pecan Blvd

                        McAllen, TX 78501

Community members with A & B licenses will have access to this free workshop on Saturday, August 19th to educate drivers, and help them be more aware of the types of violations along with other CDL (Commercial Driver License) rules.

Guest speaker, State Trooper Stephen Ricci, will be present to provide information on a variety of topics. Mr. Ricci will go over all requirements for everyone who attends, the benefits of having a good DOT Record (Department of Transportation Record), and both safety and pre-trip inspections. He will also be discussing new laws that are scheduled to go into effect this December.
