South Texas College to host 6th Annual Bi-National INNO Conference

South Texas College’s 2018 New Innovations, New Opportunities Conference (INNO) will take place Sept. 28.

The conference co-hosted by the Instituto Internacional de Estudios Superiores, will focus on preparing the local workforce for jobs of the future.

The agenda will include talks from PSJA ISD Superintendent, Dr. Daniel King, round-table discussions, and a speaker panel.

South Texas College Economics professor and INNO Conference Master of Ceremonies, Dr. Kevin Peek says this conference is significant in today’s modern world.

“The conference focuses on jobs of the future and the skills they require,” said Peek. “This information is highly significant and will benefit employers considering how to structure their hiring requirements, students who are preparing to enter the labor force, and the general public.”

The conference is $20 for the general public and $5 for students.
