Spring 2019 STEM Summit attracts future professionals

On March 29, 2019, the Divisions of Math, Science & Bachelor Programs (MSB) and Business, Public Safety & Technology (BPST) collaborated in sponsoring a STEM Summit. This event allowed students the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and interact with presenters, faculty, student success specialists, university representatives, and STEM club members.

Over 150 STEM major students attended the event. Keynote speaker was Mr. Trung Nguyen, Plant Manager for Royal Technologies. Royal Technologies is an advanced engineering and manufacturing company serving diverse industries.

This was the second time the STEM Summit was held at STC and organizers from both the MSB and BPST Divisions expect to continue the event each semester with more speakers from different areas of STEM.
