STC Biology Department Faculty to Host Talk on Covid19 Coronavirus

MCALLEN, TX (March 6, 2020) – South Texas College Biology Department faculty have teamed up with Hidalgo County Health and Human Services to host a talk on Covid19 Coronavirus, on March 12.

The event will take place on the STC Pecan Campus in McAllen, from 6 to 8:00 pm in the Student Union, West Ballroom (Building U).

Hidalgo County Health and Human Services Epidemiologist Steven Hinojosa will be the featured speaker. Discussion will include the source and spread of Covid19 Coronavirus, how to prevent its spread, symptoms of the virus, myths vs. facts and other important information. The community is invited.
