Virtual Master Classes for STC Music Majors

On Wednesday September 9th, the U.S. Army School of Music held a masterclass for South Texas College Music Majors. The instructors included Sergeant First Class Ali Park, Staff Sergeant Castillo, and Sergeant William Scott. The masterclass covered foundational principles for music preparation. These included principles for effective music practice and tools for memorization of music. They additionally shared leadership skills for future music educators. The masterclass was broadcast via MS Teams which allowed students to login from their home environment rather than on campus.
