STC set to host 2024 adjunct faculty job fair

STC’s Office of Academic Affairs in partnership with its Office of Human Resources announce the 2024 Adjunct Faculty Job Fair that will take place on the second floor of the Pecan Campus’ Student Union building April 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.   

South Texas College is looking for new faculty who are eager to shape the future of students and communities.

STC’s Office of Academic Affairs in partnership with its Office of Human Resources announce the college’s annual Adjunct Faculty Job Fair that will take place on the second floor of the Pecan Campus’ Student Union building April 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.  

"If you're an educator with a passion for teaching or an industry professional with specialized expertise to share, I encourage you to attend the Adjunct Faculty Job Fair and discover the transformative power of South Texas College," said Anahid Petrosian, Ph.D., vice president and provost for Academic Affairs. "Our college community is dedicated to providing a vibrant, engaging learning environment that fosters growth, curiosity, and academic excellence. Apply for the opportunity to share your expertise, collaborate with innovative educators, and help shape the future of our students and communities."

Part-time faculty opportunities are open in more than 50 programs in the divisions of Business, Public Safety and Technology; Math, Science and Information Technology; Social Behavioral Sciences; Liberal Arts; Nursing and Allied Health; Continuing Education and Bachelor Programs.

At the event, prospective faculty will be able submit their application and resumes and talk to representatives in the department they are interested in teaching. 

“We are excited to announce our upcoming adjunct job fair, where we will be actively seeking talented individuals to join our Jaguar family,” said Zachary Suarez, D.P.A., executive director of Human Resources and Talent Development. “This event provides an excellent opportunity for us to connect with potential candidates and showcase the numerous career opportunities available at South Texas College. We look forward to meeting eager individuals who are ready to contribute their skills and experience to the success of our students and campus community.”

Applicants are asked to bring a completed application including resumes, a letter of intent, a list of five professional references and copies of their academic transcripts. Part-time faculty applications are available at www.careers.southtexascollege.edu.
