Bridging Student Success from High School to College

The Dual Credit Programs at South Texas College provides the opportunity for eligible high school students, in a participating school district, to enroll in college courses while still attending high school. South Texas College’s Dual Credit Programs currently collaborates with 21 school districts and 70 high school partners across Hidalgo and Starr Counties. Over the past 20 years, the Dual Credit Programs has served over 120,000 students, tuition-free, saving families over $370 million dollars in tuition and fees.

South Texas College’s Dual Credit Programs was honored to receive the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) accreditation. By receiving the NACEP accreditation, it signifies that the Dual Credit Programs has met the highest standards in addressing the quality of dual credit.
